Privacy notice

This website tells of the world of Myrvand and the music of Ragin. It is deliberately simple: no cookies, no tracking, no advertising, no accounts, no forms. This page explains which data is processed anyway. The German version is the binding one.

Hosting and server log files

The website runs on an external hosting provider. When you open a page, its server automatically processes technically necessary data sent by your browser:

  • IP address
  • date and time of the request
  • page requested and amount of data transferred
  • browser type, operating system and the page you came from (referrer)

This data is needed to deliver the page to you and to keep the site secure and stable, for example to detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is not combined with other data, not analysed to identify you, and deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose. The hosting provider processes it on my behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. There are no analytics or statistics services, no ad networks and no social media plugins.

Fonts, images and scripts

All fonts, images and scripts are served from this website's own server. Nothing is loaded from Google Fonts, content delivery networks or other third-party servers. Enlarging images and choosing a language happen entirely in your browser.

Links to streaming services and profiles

Album and song pages link to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and other services. These are plain links, not embedded players: no connection to these services is made unless you click. Only when you open a link do you move to that provider's site, and its privacy policy applies there.

Contact by email

If you write to me, I use your address and message only to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and delete them once the conversation is finished and no retention duty applies.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). A short message to the address in the legal notice is enough.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
